Are you in and around Nottingham this weekend and looking for something to do? Well, here’s one event that’s definitely not to be missed… Nottingham’s Riverside Festival!

If you’re after a unique and fun festival then all you need to do is get yourself down to Victoria Embankment where you’ll find a mile’s worth of entertainment along the banks of the River Trent. Not only will you be kept occupied for 3 days – from Friday 5th August right through until Sunday 8th August, but the event is also completely FREE to attend!

It’s already sounding great, right? Well, wait until you check out the line-up and what you can expect to see and do over the weekend:

Friday 5th August – 6:30pm – 10:30pm
Start the weekend off with some free live music, plus you can take a trip to the funfair or indulge in some food and drink.

Saturday 6th August – 12:00pm – 10:30pm
Along with the free live music across three stages, the funfair and food and drink, there will also be street theatre along the river, a Children’s Zone and Sports Zone, the Fujifilm Wonder Photo Tour and the highlight of the weekend will be a fireworks display at 10.30pm.

Sunday 7th August – 12:00pm – 6:30pm
The fun continues with even more live music, plus the seventh dragon boat race challenge will be taking place. There will be up to 50 crews battling it out over the 200m race course on the River Trent at the Victoria Embankment. Races take place every 10 minutes between 11am to 4pm, so head on down and show your support.
